Education Consultant
  IEP (Individual Educationl Plan) Process

Every child who has a Ministry of Education designation, is required to have a yearly IEP. In order to have a viable IEP families will need to have assessments in place, identify goals, develop strategies, write, develop forms and case manage the IEP. My role is to assist with any and all of these pieces. Generally this requires three meetings. The first is to develop and write the IEP, the next is to attend the IEP meeting and lastly to follow up and make sure the case management piece is in place. Some families request ongoing monthly review and support.

Some examples of Ministry designations are:
G = Autism Spectrum Disorders
P = Gifted
Q = Learning Disabled
D = Chronic Health Impairment
